CONFIRMED: Herrera, Mata, Pogba & Ibrahimovic start against Burnley

Manchester United face Burnley in the Premier League at Old Trafford this afternoon. Last time out in the league United were destroyed by Chelsea in a 4-0 defeat, meaning that United have not won a match in the league since they beat the reigning Premier League champions Leicester City at Old Trafford back in September. United have a lot of work to do in order to turn their season around, but at the moment, they sit in a good position in the league, just six points away from the summit. A victory over Burnley would help, and the 1-0 victory over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Wednesday night in the EFL Cup could well boost Jose Mourinho’s side’s confidence ahead of this clash, but Burnley will be looking to mount pressure on Mourinho’s side, which could be telling in their fight to challenge for the Premier League title this season. United seem a long way behind their rivals, with a lot of fight to put into the side in order for them to prevail. Here are the starting XI and list of substitutes for both teams this afternoon.

Manchester United:

De Gea;

Darmian, Rojo, Blind, Shaw;

Herrera, Pogba;

Lingard, Mata, Rashford;

Ibrahimovic

Substitutes:

Romero; Memphis, Carrick, Young, Fellaini, Schneiderlin; Rooney

Burnley:

Heaton;

Gudmundsson, Hendrick, Marney, Arfield;
