De Gea did not play many matches in the UEFA Europa League last season with Romeo being the commanding goalkeeper in the Red Devils trophy-winning finale after beating Ajax 2-0 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Romero is a great number two, but he does not get tested all that much.
