Key Players: Marcus Rashford and Andreas Pereira to show Mourinho again they are good enough

Manchester United won the first game easily as they defeated LA Galaxy 5-2 with Marcus Rashford scoring two goals and Marouane Fellaini one in the first half, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial both went looking for the goal, as United put five past them.

Specific United players had something to prove the manager who is aiming to give everyone chance, before moving on in the transfer market. He will also give youth a chance as the kids who are on tour, didn’t feature in the first preseason game, except for Demetri Mitchell and Axel Tuanzebe, the later one played a full half.

As we move on into the second game, we have a look at Real Salt Lake’s and United’s key players for the game on Tuesday morning. The Americans haven’t been doing that great lately but they are trying to look at this match as a really great possibility.

Joao Plata, Real Salt Lake, Forward

The 24-year-old Ecuadorian has been a key player for Real Salt Lake since coming via a trade from Toronto FC. He is part of the side since 2013 and he has been crucial for them in the past. This season he has scored three and assisted twice in 16 club appearances. Joao seems comfortable with the team as he has apparently found his place, feeling like home. Noted from his first manager as a really good player, let’s see what he could against Manchester United. He also bagged RSL’s final goal against LA Galaxy in a 6-2 win.

Albert Rusnak, Real Salt Lake, Attacking Midfielder

The 23 years old Slovakian has become a Real Salt Lake player in 2017, after not having found himself a place as a footballer in Europe. He started his youth career in his home country, yet signed for Manchester City, entering their Academy system. With the lack of chances he went on loan several times, until he finally established himself in the United States. Despite the short time, the left flank has become his favorite place, as he also scored and assisted, against the team United played.

Marcus Rashford, Manchester United, Forward

He is definitely one of the key players in this Jose Mourinho and he is making himself no harm for throwing some competition. This summer he has grown, physically and mentally as well. Despite this, he still owns incredible pace and he is linking up well with the rest of the team. Jesse Lingard is his favourite, Juan Mata moved well in the first game.

Andreas Pereira, Manchester United, Midfielder

He is talented and we all know it. The main problem is the way he would show and he is having no problems with that. To some that defensive midfield position, may have seen strange, but the player was already used to it in his time at Granada. Yes, the team sheet along with the graphics would say left, but the player has resolved that one issue, Mourinho asked him to do; Be a better player defensively. He didn’t just do that, he also kept moving forward offering the full package. He even scored from that number six position against Wigan Athletic last pre-season.
