Manchester United could face Everton at Wembley in the Emirates FA Cup

Manchester United are still with a chance of earning an Emirates FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, should they beat West Ham United in the sixth round replay at Upton Park. United fell a goal down to the Hammers at Old Trafford on Sunday, with Ander Herrera laying on a cross for Anthony Martial, who levelled the tie. United will need to ensure they leave West Ham’s Boleyn Ground with a victory in the replay, which will earn them a semi-final date in April, something which could help end their poor season on a high. Obviously the Red Devils are in a poor spell after winning four matches in a row before losing to both West Bromwich Albion (Barclays Premier League) and Liverpool (UEFA Europa League), before drawing to the Hammers in the domestic tournament, reaching the same stage they did last season when they were beaten by Arsenal at Old Trafford, the eventual winners last season.

Here is the full Emirates FA Cup semi-final draw;

Crystal Palace v Watford

Everton v Manchester United/West Ham United

This will be the furthest that Manchester United have gone in the competition recently, should they overcome West Ham in the sixth round replay, for which a date has yet to be announced. United last faced Everton in the FA Cup back in 2009, drawing the match 0-0 and losing 4-2 on penalties. That match was played at Wembley. The last time United played at Wembley in the semi-final of the FA Cup was back in 2011, beaten 1-0 by Manchester City on the day. United really need to push for the victory over West Ham in order to reach Wembley as with Crystal Palace facing Watford, like last season, the tie is set for a United victory. Everton recently knocked out Chelsea, so that gives them something to build on whether they face United or the Hammers. It will be a good game and more importantly, Arsenal, the current holders, will not be lifting the trophy for the third time in May, so every cloud and all that.
