LIVE: Manchester United News and Transfer Updates; Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan, Memphis and more

Manchester United are only a few days away from pre-season training starting with the squad heading over to China for their pre-season tour on Monday 18th July 2016. Jose Mourinho has been hotly linked to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Paul Pogba, signing Eric Bailly earlier in the summer. Mourinho is due to report to the club next week along with the players who have not been involved in the Copa America or the European Championships this summer. It is expected that with Ibrahimovic’s contract expiring at Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday, he will sign for United in the next week so that he receives his loyalty payment as part of his contract with the French champions. Mkhitaryan is also expected to complete his move to United over the coming week, both could be involved for their new clubs during pre-season at some point, with United playing three matches; Borussia Dortmund 22nd July, Manchester City 25th July and Everton on the 3rd August for Wayne Rooney’s testimonial. Here is the latest news to break today. Keep checking back for more updates throughout the rest of the day and evening.
