Manchester United will be looking to continue their winning run of 2018 winning all four matches of the year so far. United will travel to Huish Park to take on Yeovil Town in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup, a familiar ground as United played a match here during the 2014/15 season where United won 2-0 with Ander Herrera scoring in the 64th minute and Angel Di Maria scoring a goal in stoppage time. This time, with Jose Mourinho as the manager, not Louis van Gaal, United will be seeking a better result as it took more than an hour for United to break the League Two side down. It has been a good week for United supporters with Alexis Sanchez being confirmed as a United player on Monday and Mourinho signing a new contract earlier on Thursday.

This season, United are starting to show signs of the team they once were, commencing their challenge in the Premier League, despite sitting 12 points adrift of rivals Manchester City. Mourinho will be seeking his side continue their winning run to the season and will be in much better shape than City, who have played two extra matches this month already, playing Bristol City twice in the Carabao Cup, earning a place in the final, where they will face Arsenal. United will face a trip to Wembley to be pitted against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, their final match of the month. Then United can concentrate on the UEFA Champions League returning, and a fifth round in the FA Cup, should they beat Yeovil, which seems to be on the cards.

Previous Matches: Manchester United are in the driving seat to glory based on the last three matches, scoring 13 goals without reply

Manchester United and Yeovil Town have played three competitive matches in the history of both clubs – all in the FA Cup. The first match was played on the 8th January 1938 at Old Trafford – a 3-0 victory for United with Thomas Bamford, Stan Pearson, and Henry Baird scoring the goals. The next match came just over a decade later but was played at Maine Road after the damage caused to Old Trafford by German bombers during World War II. United won that match 8-0 with Jack Rowley scoring five goals, Ronnie Burke scoring a brace and Charlie Mitten scoring the other goal in the game. United last played Yeovil just over three years ago, winning 2-0 with Ander Herrera and Angel Di Maria scoring the goals at Huish Park.

Team News: Alexis Sanchez to make his Manchester United debut at Huish Park?

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that new number seven Alexis Sanchez will be in the squad to face Yeovil Town in the FA Cup on Friday evening. Whether the Chilean makes the starting XI remains to be seen though. United could be without Eric Bailly, Michael Carrick, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the Emirates FA Cup fourth round fixture but Mourinho could rotate several key players ahead of the visit to Wembley to face Spurs on Wednesday evening. Yeovil Town player and former United trainee Otis Khan will miss the fixture which will have disappointed him.

Predicted Starting XI:

Predicted Score:
