Manchester United made it two wins in two matches in the Premier League International Cup, beating Sparta Prague at leigh Sports Village on Thursday evening. United had previously beaten Villarreal in the tournament earlier in the season, with Josh Harrop, one of the goal scorers this evening, scoring the only goal of the match. Devonte Redmond was United’s other goalscorer against the Czech side, putting United in the driving seat in the group, ahead of next week’s clash with Middlesbrough to head the group after three matches. United have played some good football at this level this season, despite playing without an out-and-out striker, seeing the liked of Scott McTominay, Devonte Redmond, Matty Willock and others lead the line at times. United will be up for the challenge in their last match of 2016 in a weeks time, one which will give them something to aim for next season, being that their performances in the league have not been too good. Nicky Butt will guide the side to aim for the top spot next week, although they could still qualify as one of the best runners up next week if the worst comes to the worst.
