Starting XI: Watford v Manchester United – Premier League 2016/17

Manchester United take on Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League this afternoon in a bid to restore confidence after two defeats in a row against Manchester City and Feyenoord. Jose Mourinho will lead his team into the match hoping that they will prove themselves against the side that beat West Ham United 4-2 just over a week ago. United had previously started the season well with four wins in the FA Community Shield against Leicester City, then beating Bournemouth, Southampton and Hull City in the Premier league before faltering to City after the international break, then Feyenoord in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. United have a busy schedule this month, playing Northampton Town on Wednesday in the EFL Cup, then Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday before entertaining Zorya Luhansk at the end of the month at home in the Europa League. United owe it to themselves to turn up from the very start of the match and show Watford and the rest of the league that they are very much back to challenge for the title this season. Here are the starting XI and list of substituted for both teams this afternoon.
