CONFIRMED: Jones, Young, Rooney & Ibrahimovic start against Swansea City

Manchester United face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon. United are not a team in good form, or good spirits if you take how easily they were taken apart by Fenerbahçe on Thursday night in Istanbul. United’s players seem to lack desire, passion, ability and more. All the things professional footballers need to have, United do not seem to have it. Corners have been turned, or so we though with the 4-1 victory over Leicester City on the 24th September, United’s last win in the league, then came the 4-1 thrashing of Fenerbahçe in the Europa League at Old Trafford, with United not really getting out of their first gear, but since then, the 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea has happened as well as the 37 shots on goal against Burnley, failing to score a goal. A reaction is needed against lowly Swansea – a side who have beaten United in this fixture for the last two seasons, by the same scoreline – 2-1.

Manchester United:

De Gea;

Young, Jones, Rojo, Darmian;

Carrick, Fellaini;

Mata, Pogba, Rooney;

Ibrahimovic

Substitutes:

Romero; Blind, Fosu-Mensah; Lingard, Schneiderlin; Martial, Rashford
