Starting XI: Crystal Palace v Manchester United – Barclays Premier League 2014/15

Manchester United face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Barclays Premier League this evening. The last three matches have all ended in defeat for United, with them dominating possession throughout the match, yet failing to score any goals. United currently need six points to secure UEFA Champions League football next season, so a win this evening is all important. Should Liverpool be beaten by Premier League champions Chelsea on Sunday, United will have done enough to earn a European place next season. Michael Carrick has been ruled out for the remainder of the season and with Phil Jones back, it could be the defensive boost United need to ensure three points leave London with the squad when they fly back to Manchester this evening.

Manchester United:

De Gea;

Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Shaw;

Valdés; Evans, McNair; Januzaj, A. Pereira; Falcao, Wilson

Crystal Palace:
