Manchester United U18’s face Middlesbrough U18 at the AON Training Complex in Carrington this afternoon. In their last time out, United beat Everton 5-1 with Nishan Burkhart, DJ Buffonge and a hat-trick from Angel Gomes. United’s first two matches of the season resulted in defeats; 2-1 against Liverpool and 4-0 against Derby County. Over the past week, it had been announced that United have a new U18 coach; Kieran McKenna, who will be on the sidelines today. United will be looking to continue their one-match winning streak and getting their season started after Academy director Nicky Butt confirmed that changes had been made ahead of the new season.
