Starting XI: Mourinho looking to start the season strongly against West Ham United

Manchester United open their Premier League campaign against West Ham United at Old Trafford this afternoon. Romelu Lukaku could make his Premier League debut for United and against the Hammers, the Belgian has scored nine goals in his last ten appearances against the London club. Anthony Martial, who missed the UEFA Super Cup final as an unused substitute has scored five goals against Slaven Bilic’s side, so he will be looking to get the nod from Jose Mourinho either from the start or at some point in the match. United ideally need to take all three points here, their first home match of the season, if turning the Theatre of Dreams into a fortress once again is what Mourinho and his side intend to do. United will have a tough season ahead of them, Chelsea were beaten by Burnley on Saturday, Liverpool drew with Watford, Arsenal narrowly beat Leicester City on Friday evening and Tottenham Hotspur are currently drawing 0-0 with Newcastle United.
