CONFIRMED: Mkhitaryan and Rooney start against West Ham

Manchester United face West Ham United in the EFL Cup at Old Trafford this evening. The two teams faced each other in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday, earning a 1-1 draw in what seemed like a struggle for United. United are without both Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini this evening, and Jose Mourinho will be in the stands after being charged by the FA, getting a one-match suspension and a £16,000 fine. United will be looking to return to winning ways, earning a semi-final place in the EFL Cup this season, which could see them head to Wembley once again this season, should they get to the final of course. United will be looking for a performance like they had against Feyenoord last Thursday night, in which they played some very good attacking football, scoring four goals and putting themselves in good stead for a place in the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League this season, which can be earned with a point against Zorya Luhansk in just over a weeks time. Here are the starting XI and list of substitutes for both clubs this evening:

Manchester United:

De Gea;

Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Shaw;

Carrick, Herrera;

Mkhitaryan, Rooney, Martial;

Ibrahimovic

Substitutes:

Romero; Blind; Mata, Lingard, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger; Rashford

West Ham United:
