VIDEO: Manchester United’s 2016 Review! Mourinho, Pogba, Zlatan, Van Gaal!

This is a month by month review of Manchester United’s crazy 2016! The arrival of new manager Jose Mourinho in May; Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba arriving in the summer. The turbulent final few months of Louis van Gaal’s tenure at the club. The twelfth Emirates FA Cup win, ending twelve years of failure in the domestic competition. The supporters crying for Mourinho to be sacked months after wanting him to replace the Dutchman. It is fair to say 2016 has been a tough year. The year started with boring possession based football and seems to be ending with glorious attacking football, which is just the start of things to come.

United may have had a poor finish in the league last season, winning the FA Cup to end that season on a high, starting the current season in good stead, then facing ups and downs along the way. So far in 2016, United are on course, despite overcoming some problems, to have a good finish in the league, closing the gap with the teams above them and creating a gap away from the teams below them. Earning an EFL Cup semi-final place, having a good draw to defend the FA Cup and reaching the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League, 2016 will end with United in high spirits. In good form currently on an eleven match unbeaten streak, winning the last four Premier League matches, for the first time since March 2015. What was your best moment of 2016?
