McKola gives us his review of Manchester United 4-1 West Ham and wants to see us field a strong side like this weekend at Everton. Have your say, comment below!

Manchester United had one simple mission in this game, seeking revenge for that undeserved draw back on Sunday. With a few changes made in the Starting XI as Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini were suspended, Jose Mourinho started Michael Carrick alongside Ander Herrera and Henrikh Mkhitaryan was given another start, this time in the EFL Cup. Luke Shaw replaced Matteo Darmian and Anthony Martial was given a chance to prove that he is a masterclass.

Starting the game in the best way, United took the lead within two minutes with a superb backheel from Mkhitaryan and a clinical finish from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It was all about United in the upcoming minutes, creating chance after chance, but not defeating the West Ham goalie, Adrian. Zlatan and Martial kept trying but without a result. An error from David De Gea, something that United fans aren’t used to see, gave the chance to former Manchester United Reserves player Ashley Fletcher. With him celebrating goal the crowd responded well to Ashley.

However, the team responded in the second half as Martial after a marvelous game by Valencia and another Mkhitaryan assist gave United the lead again. It was all about United once again and Martial scored his second after 14 minutes. An entertaining show by United once again and the merits all go to Henrikh Mkhitaryan for his brilliant display. When all seemed closed and done, Bastian with a lovely setup gave Herrera the chance to assist and Zlatan didn’t miss the chance to add another goal in the game.

A great display from the team, taking revenge from West Ham for that disappointing draw on Sunday. Solving the game easily, controlling the game in every second and doing all well to silence the critics, in the United way.
