Starting XI: Manchester United v Galatasaray – Pre-Season Friendly 2016

Manchester United face Galatasaray in their final pre-season friendly outside of the United Kingdom this evening. Jose Mourinho has a near full squad to choose from, minus Chris Smalling, who has a recurrence of an injury sustained at the tail end of last season, Timothy Fosu-Mensah who has a minor niggle and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, who could be set for a loan spell away from the club this season. Bastian Schweinsteiger has not travelled to Sweden either, presumably as he only arrived back from holiday two days ago and does not seem to have trained with the club’s first team in preparation for this match. United will be looking to have a good match, which could be the case with Zlatan Ibrahimovic making his debut in his home country. United last match was played just over a week ago, losing 4-1 to Borussia Dortmund in China. The following match against Manchester City was cancelled due to the weather in Beijing and the state of the pitch at the Birds Nest Stadium in the capital. Here are the starting XI’s and list of substitutes for both sides in this evening’s match.
