Confirmed Starting XI: Rashford leads the line against Derby; Shaw keeps his place

Manchester United go head to head with Championship club Derby County in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup this evening at Old Trafford. United managed to overcome their poor form on New Year’s Day with a victory over Everton at Goodison Park, despite three consecutive draws in the Premier League against Leicester City (2-2), Burnley (2-2) and Southampton (0-0). Prior to those three matches, United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Bristol City, which was the start of a poor period for the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho has been slated in the media, it has also been stated that he was going to walk away from the club at the end of the season and that he was currently negotiating a new contract with the club. The manager has also been criticised for living in the Lowry hotel – which suggests the media are obsessed with Manchester United and Jose Mourinho. Mourinho himself has had a go back at the media over the last few days, exposing their lies about his leaving the club, also answering why he still lives in the hotel, not that it is any of their business.
