Team News: Tuanzebe starts; Rooney leads the line…

Manchester United will go head to head with Arsenal in the Premier League at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. It will be the 225th meeting between the two sides in their 123-year history. United start the match in fifth place, four points adrift of Manchester City in fourth, but with Liverpool currently drawing with Southampton and United in effect having two games in hand over them (including the one against Arsenal), United could be back in with a chance of earning a top-four place in the Premier League this season. United have had a long season, this being their 59th match, still with at least four matches to play, a fifth if United earn a UEFA Europa League final place in Sweden. Jose Mourinho has included some talented youth players in his squad for this match, with the team news confirmed below;

Manchester United:

De Gea;

Tuanzebe, Jones, Smalling, Darmian;

Carrick, Herrera;

Mata, Mkhitaryan, Martial;

Rooney

Substitutes:

Romero; Bailly, Blind; Pogba, Lingard, McTominay; Rashford

Arsenal:

Cech;

Holding, Koscielny, Monreal;

Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Xhaka, Gibbs;

Ozil, Welbeck, Alexis

Substitutes:

Ospina, Gabriel, Giroud, Walcott, Iwobi, Bellerin, Coquelin

United and Arsenal have met 224 times before today with United winning 96 times, drawing 47 and losing 81 times. United need to keep the gap between them and Arsenal with only five points between the two sides at this stage of the season with Arsenal having a game in hand over United, played again Southampton during the week. A defeat today for United and another win for Arsenal in the week could see United pushed back into sixth place in the league, the position they spent more than 100 days in earlier this season. Come on UNITED!
